Regimental Chapel
The Cathedral has many chapels available to it for worship, events and private prayer. The regimental chapel is the largest of these and expresses the Cathedral’s strong relationship with the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.
The chapel houses many remembrance books, and regimental colours. It also houses the Cathedral baptism font and from time to time, works of art. It boasts a glorious stained glass window.
On alternate Wednesdays at 12.45pm the Turning of the Leaves ceremony takes place. A page is turned in the Book of Remembrance for the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment and servicemen who have died in service are remembered.
