On Saturday 16 May 2015 Manchester Cathedral Choir is inviting boys and girls aged 8-11 years old to ‘Be a Chorister for a Day’ to find out what singing in the Cathedral Choir is all about.
The day begins at 2.15pm with a tour of Chetham’s School of Music where all of our Choristers go to school. After the tour, they will make their way to the Cathedral where they will sing with the Cathedral Choristers and do some fun activities before being involved in a short service at 5pm. The event will end at about 5.30pm.
The event is free of charge but places are limited and must be booked in advance by contacting the Worship and Music Administrator, Kerry Garner, on 0161 833 2220 ext. 238. All children attending need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
