The Capture the Cathedral photography competition is now in its fourth year. The 2016 competition will open on Monday 18 April 2016.
Photographers of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels are invited to 'Capture the Cathedral' in different and imaginative ways.

• Architecture and Stained Glass
• Something Different
This photograph can be of anything inside or outside the Cathedral. We are looking for a photograph that is unusual for whatever reason.
• The Cathedral at Night
A winner will be chosen in each category. The judging panel will also select an overall winner who will be ‘The Official Photographer for Manchester Cathedral 2016 ’ and will be invited to photograph events at the Cathedral throughout the year.
The overall winner will receive a voucher for an overnight stay for two with breakfast at the Renaissance Manchester City Centre Hotel and a meal for two at Harvey Nichols, Manchester.
