Manchester Cathedral is committed to promoting reading in Manchester and we are delighted to be part of the Read Manchester BookBench Project.
Book-shaped benches have been decorated by schools and community groups with designs inspired by books and reading. This summer, they will be displayed in various venues across the city.
Three BookBenches are on display here at Manchester Cathedral. They have been decorated by by Holy Trinity C.E. Primary School, Levenshulme High School and Martenscroft Nursery School and Children's Centre.
