Manchester Cathedral is hosting two special programmes this Easter. The first is a live broadcast on BBC One of Eucharist for Easter Sunday on 5 April; the second is a recording for the ever-popular programme, Songs of Praise, on Easter Monday, 6 April.
Details are as follows:
Live broadcast of the Easter Eucharist:
Sunday 5 April: Seated by 0915 for the service between 1000 – 1100.
Songs of Praise:
Rehearsal (choir ticket holders only): Sunday 29 March 1415 – 1645.
Recording (all ticket holders): Monday 6 April 1400 – 1730.
Keen singers are invited to apply for tickets to be part of the special Songs of Praise SATB ‘combined choir’. Please note that all choir ticket holders are asked to attend the rehearsal as well as the recording. If you wish to attend but not be part of the choir, please request a congregation ticket.
