Statement on the closure of St Denys' Bookshop

“The Manchester Cathedral Visitor Centre Board is deeply saddened by the decision of St. Denys’ Bookshop to close after establishing itself at the Cathedral six years ago at the request of the Dean. Sue and Penny have wonderfully served the Church in Manchester for the past 35 years. Despite a request that they reconsider their decision to close, they have decided to close the shop at the end of February. This is unfortunate and will leave a huge gap in the provision of Christian resources to church communities in Manchester. We thank them for their service to the Church and wish them well in their future plans.”
